Your catalog description should be a single paragraph of no more than 150 words. Include the content, theme, and goals of the course. Describe the class format (lecture, discussion, film, etc.), prerequisites if appropriate, and what is expected of participants.
Frustrated by the word count? Keep in mind that you can include additional information on your website, which can be made available to prospective SGMs during the course sign-up period.
Please don't include web links, class size, outside preparation, or contact information here. Note that the Curriculum Committee may make minor editorial changes to your text in accordance with current style guidelines for the HILR catalog.
In order to help the Committee better understand your course plan, you may wish to describe significant materials, such as videos and other online resources that you plan to use in class.

We hope HILR will be running primarily in-person classes in Spring 2023. In the event that Zoom classes are still offered, and your preference if so would be to lead the course on Zoom, please indicate that here and explain why. Please also indicate here if so what your Zoom maximum class size request would be, within a range from 15-24. Please note, extra scheduling flexibility may be needed if you are willing to lead your proposed course only if on Zoom.
